The Columbia Intifada is a bi-monthly original publication from Columbia SJP, designed to provide political commentary on both current events and changes in university policies and structures. Similar to Writers Against the War on Gaza (WAWOG)’s emulation of the New York Times, the Columbia Intifada is an emulation of the Columbia Daily Spectator, Columbia University and Barnard College’s student-led newspaper. The Columbia Intifada is distributed on campus and in select locations across Upper Manhattan, including Five Flies Coffee, Mushtari Cafe, Qahwah House, and Recirculation Books.
